To be eligible for this visa your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Bangladesh.

When do I need to send my passport?
To submit your Bangladesh Business Visa application to High Commission on your behalf, we will require your original passport. If you are posting your application to us, simply include your passport - it is recommended that this is sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery.

If you are applying online, we will provide instructions as to when we will require your passport following your submission. Please do not send your physical passport until it is requested.

• COPY OF PASSPORT - A copy of the photograph/information page of your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry into Bangladesh.
• PHOTOGRAPH - A passport-style photograph, this should be clear and against a white background. If the photo you submit is not suitable we may contact you to ask for another. Please note: this should not be a photograph of the picture in your passport, this should be a recent, separate photograph.
• BUSINESS INVITATION LETTER - Please include a business invitation letter issued by a Bangladeshi business. The letter must detail the applicant’s name, passport number, purpose of travel and travel dates. The letter must also be typed on company letter headed paper, signed, and addressed to the Bangladesh High Commission, London.
• UK EMPLOYER LETTER - Please include a letter from your UK employer. The letter must introduce the applicant, detail their employment status and explain the purpose of visit to Bangladesh.

This document will be electronically tagged to your passport and does not require you to visit an Embassy or Application Centre. When providing us with a copy of your passport, please make sure you provide a clear scan/photo of the page which shows your information and photo. Do not crop out any details including the machine-readable strip that runs along the bottom of the page as shown below:
