Am I eligible for this visa?

To be eligible for this visa your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Papua New Guinea and have at least two blank visa pages.

This visa is valid for the purpose of tourism only, including holidays, sightseeing, and visiting friends and family.

• PROOF OF FUNDS – A copy of your latest bank statement. The statement must clearly show your full name and address, and sufficient funds to support yourself whilst in Papua New Guinea.
• COVERING LETTER – A short covering letter which explains your purpose of travel, details where you will be staying whilst in Papua New Guinea and provides your contact details. The letter should be signed and dated.
• TRAVEL TICKET – A copy of an onward or return travel ticket. Your travel ticket must show your full name, the date/time you leave Papua New Guinea and the flight number or equivalent Papua New Guinea.
• COPY OF PASSPORT – A copy of the photograph/information page of your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Papua New Guinea.

This document will be electronically tagged to your passport and does not require you to visit an Embassy or Application Centre. When providing us with a copy of your passport, please make sure you provide a clear scan/photo of the page which shows your information and photo. Do not crop out any details including the machine-readable strip that runs along the bottom of the page as shown below:
