Am I eligible for this ETA?

To be eligible for this visa your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Sri Lanka.

A Sri Lanka Transit ETA is suitable for the following travel purposes:

• Transiting
• Tourism/excursions from cruise ships

If your length of stay in Sri Lanka exceeds 2 days or is not part of an onward journey, you will not be eligible for a Transit ETA. Instead, you will require a Sri Lanka Tourist ETA.

• COPY OF PASSPORT - A copy of the photograph/information page of your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Sri Lanka.
• CRUISE ITINERARY - A copy of your cruise itinerary/booking confirmation. This must show your name(s), entry and exit dates and your destination country following your departure from Sri Lanka.
  
  

This document will be electronically tagged to your passport and does not require you to visit an Embassy or Application Centre. When providing us with a copy of your passport, please make sure you provide a clear scan/photo of the page which shows your information and photo. Do not crop out any details including the machine-readable strip that runs along the bottom of the page as shown below:

Non-UK Passport Holders
