Important Information

Processing times
Approval of a Tunisia Tourist Visa involves the Tunisian Embassy in London seeking prior approval from the Ministry of Interior in Tunisia. As such, processing time on average takes 6-8 weeks. It is highly recommended that you apply for your visa 3 months prior to your proposed date of travel.

Once The Travel Visa Company have completed the online registration of your application, we will require the applicant’s original signature on the completed forms. As such, we will need to send the completed forms to you to sign and return to us. Further instructions on this process will be provided at the relevant time.

When do I need to send my passport?
To submit your Tunisia Tourist Visa application to High Commission on your behalf, we will require your original passport. If you are posting your application to us, simply include your passport - it is recommended that this is sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery.

If you are applying online, we will provide instructions as to when we will require your passport following your submission. Please do not send your physical passport until it is requested.

Am I eligible for this visa?

To be eligible for this visa your passport should be valid for at least your entire length of stay in Tunisia.

• COPY OF PASSPORT – A copy of the photograph/information page of your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least your entire length of stay in Tunisia.
  • PROOF OF RESIDENCE – If you are a non-UK national residing in the UK, you MUST provide your UK Immigration Share Code on the application form. This can be obtained at:
    www.gov.uk/view-prove-immigration-status
• PHOTOGRAPH – A passport-style photograph, this should be clear and against a white background. If the photo you submit is not suitable we may contact you to ask for another. Please note: this should not be a photograph of the picture in your passport, this should be a recent, separate photograph.
• ACCOMMODATION BOOKING CONFIRMATION – A copy of your hotel booking confirmation. This document must show the applicant’s name, hotel name/address and check-in/out dates.
  • NOTARISED LETTER OF INVITATION – If you’re being invited to Tunisia by family of friends, please provide a notarised letter of invitation and a copy of their passport.
• RELATIVE'S ID – If you have relatives in Tunisia, please provide copies of their passports.
• TRAVELLING COMPANION'S ID – If you are travelling to Tunisia with any individual(s) who holds a British passport, providing a copy of their passport(s) can potentially expedite the application.

When providing us with a copy of your passport, please make sure you provide a clear scan/photo of the page which shows your information and photo. Do not crop out any details including the machine-readable strip that runs along the bottom of the page as shown below:
