Am I eligible for this visa?

To be eligible for this visa your passport should be valid for your entire length of stay in Canada and have at least two blank visa pages.

Applicants who have previously been arrested, convicted or hold a criminal record are required to disclose a Police Certificate (ACRO) as part of the process and the processing time is likely to be significantly longer. The Travel Visa Company can obtain the ACRO on your behalf. Additional Information

You may be required to appear in person to submit your biometric information (fingerprints and photograph) to the Canadian authorities. If you are requested to submit your biometrics, there will be an additional fee to pay.

It is advised that applicants should not make any final travel plans until the visa application has been processed and the visa has been issued.

COPY OF PASSPORT – A copy of the photograph/information page of your passport. Your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your stay in Canada.

PHOTOGRAPH – A passport-style photograph, this should be clear and against a white background. If the photo you submit is not suitable we may contact you to ask for another. Please note: this should not be a photograph of the picture in your passport, this should be a recent, separate photograph.

PURPOSE OF TRAVEL – Please provide proof that you are entering Canada as a temporary visitor. This can be in the form of a flight ticket, a travel itinerary, or proof of a medical appointment.

TRAVEL HISTORY – You must provide information on your travel history. This can include copies of your previous passports and visas (used within the last 10 years), entry and exit stamps, study or work permits, expired or valid visas, or boarding passes.

USE OF A REPRESENTATIVE (I5476) – Please complete the Use of a Representative form. This must be signed and dated with an original ink signature.

FAMILY INFORMATION (I5645) – Please complete the Family Information form. This must be signed and dated with an original ink signature.

INVITATION LETTER – Please provide a letter of invitation that has been written by the inviting part in Canada. This must include the following information: purpose and length of visit, nature of the relationship between you and the host, and contact information of the host.

BUSINESS ACTIVITIES DESCRIPTION – Please provide a document describing the primary business activities you will be involved in during your stay in Canada.

ACRO POLICE CERTIFICATE – If you have ever been convicted of any crime, in any country, you MUST provide a copy of an ACRO Police Certificate dated within the last 6 months.

Failure to provide us with these documents will result in delays with your application. Please be advised that further documentation may be requested during the application process.

How long is my visa valid for?

A Canada Business Visa (B1) is valid for up to 10 years, or whenever your passport expires.

How long can I stay in Canada?

A Canada Business Visa (B1) permits multiple entries for up to 6 months at a time.

Can I fast track my application?

The Canadian authorities do not provide any services for fast tracking applications. As soon as your visa has been issued, we will get in touch.

Will I be required to submit my passport in person?

You will not be required to submit your passport in person, but you may be required to provide your biometric information. If this is the case, then we will get in contact with you as soon as possible.
