Am I eligible for this visa?

To be eligible for this visa your passport should be valid for your entire length of stay in Canada and have at least two blank visa pages.

You are not required to obtain an eTA if you are entering Canada by land or sea. An eTA is only needed when entering by air.

Applicants who have previously been arrested, convicted or hold a criminal record are required to disclose a Police Certificate (ACRO) as part of the process and the processing time is likely to be significantly longer. The Travel Visa Company can obtain the ACRO on your behalf. • COPY OF PASSPORT - A copy of the photograph/information page of your passport. Your passport must be valid for at least your entire length of stay in Canada.
• ACRO POLICE CERTIFICATE - IF you have ever been convicted of any crime, in any country, you MUST provide a copy of an ACRO Police Certificate dated within the last 6 months.
  • DON'T HAVE AN ACRO? - If you do not already have this document, The Travel Visa Company can obtain the ACRO on your behalf. Click here for further information.

This document will be electronically tagged to your passport and does not require you to visit an Embassy or Application Centre. When providing us with a copy of your passport, please make sure you provide a clear scan/photo of the page which shows your information and photo. Do not crop out any details including the machine-readable strip that runs along the bottom of the page as shown below:
